1)  To CHANGE YOUR NAME, simply left-click on your name that you were auto-given when you joined and you may change your NAME, INFO, and AVATAR from there. You may also REGISTER your name via this option and you will be taken to XAT.COM to register your username and it will become permanent everytime you login again.

2) TECHNICAL PROBLEMS: It has come to my attention that some users like myself may experience what we call a 'LOCKOUT' where you've been away for awhile and/or you X'd off the browser without actually signing out. In these cases you may experience instances where you come here to chat and you find yourself already logged in BUT...You are on a new name again like when you first started before you registered but your username is red and will not let you sign into it from here. If this is the case, it is because you DID NOT sign out before you closed the browser and it created an error-status. To fix this problem, you must close this chat, then go to XAT.com, LOGIN to your account, then you may come back here and you will be logged in with the username you chose to begin with.
